One of my favorite place to go eat when I was a senior in high school and a freshman in college was at Crispers. Many call it a similar version to Panera Bread. I like this certain one I go to because it's down the street from me and it is also near to Safety Harbor pier which offers a very peaceful environment. I would often come here to eat alone or bring friends along and finish up the day with a walk on the pier and just observe other people fishing and so on.
In this specific picture I got the Caribbean Chicken Flatbread which is one of my favorites! They use to have the half and half which you get to pick half of a sandwich or flatbread and soup or salad, etc but they took it down and put it back up so I'm not sure if it's still there.
The first time I visited this restaurant I was honestly a little confused. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to get seated or line up but then I figured it out after watching a couple of people before me. There are little menus you can pick up and look at or you can look up at the boards on the wall. You walk down this line to the register, you order and pay then they hand you a number and a cup and you would go get your drink, sit down and wait for your food, but before getting all cozy you must clip up that number up at your table for the server to find you.
The food here is really simple, they serve sandwiches, flatbread, soup, salads, sweets and drinks. I think most of their food is pretty darn good but it's not the cheapest thing ever, but is pretty close to cheap. It took me awhile to find my favorite dishes, but I've tried many things on their menu and I'm not very disappointed besides some of the soup which weren't on the same level as my taste buds.
