Well I just had my lunch break today and went over next door for some tostadas. I'm not sure what it's called... but it is on the corner of Hercules and Drew in Clearwater, Florida.
It was pretty darn good but I felt like there was a few things missing. It doesn't beat the tostadas I get from the Taco Bus though.
It was really good and filling and the hot sauce was pretty bomb but I wish there was some tomatoes or pico de gallo, some cilantro and some lime. That would have made it as good as Taco Bus!
I was able to sit and watch the little lady cook my tostadas which I then knew it was going to be piping hot and fresh! The tortilla was fried to order and the cheese is really light and fluffy. Super yummy. There's a pretty decent amount of refried beans and choice of meat (I got shredded beef - my favorite). It wasn't too salty or too bland and you can easily eat it all alone without any hot sauce.
