Another thanks to Groupon for giving me a chance to try out another wonderful restaurant! I honestly love all the deals Groupon, Living Social and Creative Lofting provides because as a college kid, money doesn't come easy and being able to eat happily is just heaven!
I actually enjoyed this BBQ chicken quesadilla very much. The BBQ sauce was pretty darn good, it wasn't too strong or overpowering. It's the perfect amount of tangy sweetness goodness with large chunks of chicken. The whole wheat tortilla was nicely pressed, crispy and delicious.
This was the star of the night. We opted for the Portabella Burger over their regular grass fed burger. Reason? Just because we wanted to try something new! I must say it probably wasn't my favorite but I enjoyed it. I'm a meat person so I would have wanted a slab of burger meat under that mushroom but I must say it's a very filling vegetarian option for a burger. Everything was super fresh and tasty but I did have a little problem with my buns being a little too toasted.
I love fries and this time we tried their sweet potato fries. Better luck next time maybe? The fries were either burnt or too soggy. I loved the flavor of them but it all ended up feeling like smush. How sad but, it's okay I finished my meal here at Green Organix and enjoyed my first organic meal! After our dinner we walked down the road to a place called Cali Yogurt and I got some taro frozen yogurt with cheesecake bits. Yum! This place is clean and bright with a few flavors of yogurt. They also provide smoothie options and a great place to sit and chill.
Special thanks to my wonderful friend Gabby for always joining me on my foodie adventures! If you guys are ever interested in planning a foodie dinner feel free to contact me :D!
